| A Training for Married Couples |

A training programme for the married couple was organized by the “Family Welfare Committee” of Holy Cross Church, Cordel on 23 August 2009. The programme commenced at 8.30 in the morning. Rev. Fr. Valerian Pinto, the Parish Priest inaugurated the training by lighting the lamp along with the representatives. Mr. Francis D’Cunha, Kinnikambla spoke to the participants regarding the responsibility of the parents in bringing up their children. Mrs. Judy Pinto, another speaker of the day, addressed them on the relationship between the couple. A separate Eucharistic celebration was organized for the participants and Fr. Valerian Pinto celebrated the Mass with a beautiful homily. The programme ended with lunch at 2.00 PM. There were 70 couples and all felt that the programme was useful for their family life. |
